2002 CCS GIRLS BASKETBALL PLAYOFFS--DIVISION IV
Melissa Bayol's three-pointer with 5:07 left in the game proved to be the difference at Sacred Heart Prep defeated Menlo School 28-24 to claim the Central Coast Section Division IV title. The title is the fourth straight for the Gators, 10th in 11 years, and 13th overall. Bayol's three-pointer boosted the Sacred Heart lead to 27-20. The Knights rallied to get to within three points. But tight defense by the Gators prevented Menlo from getting closer. Bayol finished the game with 12 points. Laura Robinson and Kathryn Pade each had eight points for the Knights.
