2001 BOYS BASKETBALL PLAYOFFS--DIVISION V
Nick Letts jump shot with 2:42
left in the game gave Redwood Christian the lead for good, as the Eagles
defeated Eastside Prep 41-39 to claim the Boys� Central Coast Section Division
V title. Eastside led most of the way, building its lead to as many as 11
points with 4:35 left to go in the third quarter. But, the Eagles closed out the
quarter, going on an 11-2 run. After a few trades of the lead, the Eagles took
the lead for good on Letts hoops. Jerry Light led all scorers with 18
points. Jeremiah Williams paced Eastside with 12 points. The title is the
second one for Redwood Christian.
