THE FOLLOWING CONFERENCE PLACEMENT IS THE TENTATIVE RECOMMENDATION OF THE CCS REALIGNMENT COMMITTEE.  

OPEN HEARINGS WILL BE HELD ON THIS PROPOSAL AS FOLLOWS IN THE TEXT OF THIS INFORMATION.

At it's meeting on October 5, 2000 the CCS Realignment Committee discussed proposed Conference Placement of CCS member schools.  The Committee announced its decision on tentative conference placement as follows:

Move St. Ignatius (G) and Sacred Hearth Cathedral Prep (G) from the Northern Conference to the Central Conference

The Committee suggests that the CCS Conference basic leagues affected by this change might look like the following:

              The Bylaws of the CCS require that an open hearing be held to discuss this tentative Conference Placement in the CCS for 2002-2003.

    This meeting will be held at the Los Gatos Lodge (El Gato Room) starting at 1 pm following the October 19, 2000 Board of Managers meeting.

    The purpose of this open hearing is for the CCS Realignment Committee to gather input regarding any and all proposed changes.

    After this open hearing, the CCS Realignment Committee shall meet to decide on a final recommendation to the CCS Executive Committee as to Conference Placement of CCS Member schools for the 2002-2003 school year.
