The Northern Conference realignment committee met on February 8 and is forwarding the following recommendation to all Northern Conference member schools in a mailing the week of February 13-16, 2001

be held to discuss and vote on this proposal.

Every Ratified Representative from each Northern Conference School should plan to attend this important meeting.

RATIONALE (not in any rank order)
1. Puts schools with similar sport offerings and equitable
competition together.
2. Groups coed schools and girls-only schools into leagues
made up primarily of the same type
of schools.
2. Divides fairly evenly the girls programs, so that each of
the CPSAL, PSAL and GPSL have a
viable # of girls teams for their
league, and no one league is disproportionate in that regard.
