The Central  Conference realignment committee met on February 7 and is forwarding the following recommendation to all Central Conference member schools in a mailing the week of February 13-16, 2001

The Central Conference Meeting that will be held to discuss and vote on this proposal. 
will be as follows:

Wednesday, March 28 @ Cupertino High School
10100 Finch Avenue, Cupertino CA
8:00 am

Every Ratified Representative from each Central Conference School should plan to attend this important meeting.

Rationale: (not in any rank order)
1.    Places schools together which have relationships established outside of athletics.
2.    Moves boys and girls programs together--better scheduling options.
3.    8th team in the WCAL provides a larger league that offers more scheduling options
        than with only 7 teams.
