2000 GIRLS BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

Pinewood went on a 13-0 run in the third quarter to defeat Redwood Christian
54-45 in the Central Coast Section Division V game. This is the third straight CCS
title for the Panthers. With the score tied 30-30, the Panthers went on their run to
seal the win. Katie Collins scored all six of her points during the run. Katy
Digovich led the Panthers with 14 points with Sebnam Kimyacioglu getting 13 and Sarah
Feely with 12. Redwood Christian's Leah Thornton led all scorers with 16 points.
Allison Greenaway added 13, and Sarah Thornton finished with 10.
