Gary Van Zandt & Bill White:

On the CBOA web site when you click on CBOA Affiliated Units  you will get a
"new rules" section that will come up.  Under new rules : 5-5-4 is
listed....  This RULE WAS NOT passed by the National Federation.  Due to it
being on the web site it is already causing some units to call sections and
question.  Would you please delete this from your web site and make the
necessary calls, revisions to your units.  There are a few state that the
NFHS has doing an "experiment" with this rule - California is not approved.
There is NO basketball mercy rule for CA.  Thanks for your help in clearing
this up!
