ABOUT THE MBL

The Monterey Bay League is a 6 member school league.   Schools in our league are geographically located in Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties.    The league is governed by a Board of Managers consisting of the Principal of each school.  The Athletic Directors from each of our schools meet and  make recommendations on many issues to our Board of Managers.  The League employs a part-time Commissioner to oversee the daily operation of the league.

MBL SPORTS OFFERED

Our TCAL member schools offer teams in every sport, except as noted below:
ALISAL-Boys volleyball is played in the TCAL; no boys tennis
MONTEREY-Field Hockey is played in the MTAL; Boys Water Polo is played in the TCAL;
Girls Water Polo is played in the TCAL supplemental league; Boys Volleyball is played in the TCAL
NORTH MONTEREY COUNTY-no swimming; no boys or girls tennis; 
SEASIDE- Boys Volleyball is played in the TCAL; no boys or girls golf
