• Lacrosse Leagues

• Lacrosse is played by most of our CCS member schools as an independent schedule.    At this point, there are two leagues for boys and one for girls officially sponsoring Lacrosse; the PAL and the SCCAL.  At the current time, there are insufficient schools in a close geographic proximity to have additional league play.  CIF member schools may NOT have a club lacrosse program.

• CCS has Playoffs as a response to league play.  If there are several leagues that have a sport, then the CCS Board considers hosting a championship between those top league teams.  Lacrosse does not have a CCS playoff because there is only one league yet, that sponsors Lacrosse. As the sport grows, and leagues add it, then a request for a CCS Championship through the CCS democratic process via the Board and leagues will begin to discuss the issue further.
