- Lacrosse is played by some of our CCS member schools in small leagues with other members playing an independent
schedule. At this point, there are five leagues for boys (MTAL, SCCAL, SCVAL, WBAL and WCAL) and
two for girls (SCVAL and WBAL) officially sponsoring
Lacrosse. CIF member schools may NOT have a club lacrosse
program.
|
- Indoor (Box) Lacrosse has been determined by the CIF to be a different sport and, thus, is not subject to the restrictions of CIF Bylaw 600 (Competition on an Outside Team).

- CCS has Playoffs as a response to league play. If there are
several leagues that have a sport, then the CCS Board considers hosting
a championship between those top league teams. Lacrosse does not
have a CCS playoff. As the sport grows, and additional leagues add it, then a request
for a CCS Championship through the CCS democratic process via the Board and leagues
will begin to discuss the issue further.
