SCHOLASTIC ACHIEVEMENT TEAM AWARDS PROGRAM
This award provides unlimited certificates to member schools who verify that they have a varsity team that meets the standards listed below. 

QUALIFICATION:    All varsity teams in CCS-approved sports which achieve a collective GPA of 3.0 GPA or higher for the grading period which ends during the season of sport.

PROCEDURE:    Each school will determine it's own qualifying teams.  No CCS office action is required.  Certificates will be made available to all schools by the CCS office on request.

PRESENTATION:    Each school will determine it's own method of presentation (e.g. "Awards Night" programs or assemblies are recommended)

SCHOLASTIC CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM AWARDS

This award is presented to one team in each CCS varsity sport.

QUALIFICATION:    The varsity team in each CCS championship sport which has the highest
collective GPA for the grading period which ends during the season of sport shall be declared the Scholastic Championship Team in that sport that season.

PROCEDURE:     Application must be completed and submitted by the Principal to the CCS Office by the appropriate deadline:

I, the undersigned principal, hereby submit for consideration in the SCHOLASTIC
CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM AWARD in the VARSITY sport indicated below.

As required by the criteria, each roster member of the team as of the end of the grading
period indicated was included in the computation of the collective grade-point-average
of the team.  The computation was based upon the following point values:

The Collective GPA of the team shall be determined as follows:

1.    For each and every roster members, tally grades A through F for the grading period.
2.    Total all A through F grades by letter grade.
3.    Multiply point values above times number of each letter grade.
4.    Total point values from #3 above.
5.    Divide by total number of letter grades considered, carry to 4 places.
